Siam Paragon: World class shopping mall, SEA’s biggest aquarium, IMAX cinemas

Claimed to be South-East Asia’s biggest and a world class shopping mall, Siam Paragon was launched on December 9, 2005. The day where the traffic jam in the mall parking was said by some drivers as their unforgettable lifetime experience.

This mall is located in Bangkok’s best shopping hub occupying 300,000 sq. meters taking 3 years of construction. Presently, Siam Paragon is the hub of world class labels like Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, MNG, and even super cars like Lamboghini, Ferrari, etc. Let’s say, what’s classy is here.

Siam Paragon rests on a land under 34 years lease. It has 16 cinemas, 52 bowling lanes, a 3 D Imax theater, South-east Asia’s biggest aquarium – Siam Ocean World, a 5 star hotel, and a conference center.

Siam Paragon is the hub of the classy designer labels like Salvatore Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, Todd, etc. You can even buy a Lamborghini super car here! One most crowded area you should not miss is the food section on the ground floor. It’s among the best of all the shopping malls packed with a food court, food kiosks, restaurants, and a supermarket. And if you’re looking for books, Kinokuniya on the 3rd. floor is the biggest in Bangkok. Not only are there English and Thai books but Chinese and Japanese are available as well.

Shopping in Siam Paragon means big spending. Everything is pricey here (because it is planned so.) The food court here (which is normally a budget eat anywhere) is no difference than eating in a restaurant. Siam Paragon is very big and it’s so big that you can miss the goodies in some remote corners like the spas on the 2nd. floor. Check the store directory to make sure the goodies you’re interested in are covered.
